SMS Texting with out a phone *Free*

I’m one of the many people who doesn’t really care about cellphones, I don’t own one, don’t plan on owning one. Only thing that appeals to me is text messaging. For a wile I had no way to get around this, but one day a my friend Alex and I were talking and he sent me a site he uses to text his gf.


The website is http://keakaj.com/sms/sms.cgi, there is other stuff on the site, but its mostly for MAC, evil, evil, evil MAC-OSX

The way it works is really straight forward, Your friend’s number first, then who their provider is, after that – the message your gonna send (the most I KNOW it can send is 160 characters, but I’ve only texted to Metro PCS)

The next part lets you pick either your number, so they can text you back, call you, w/e, OR your email. I find email works the best.

You can use this on your PSP, the SMS in one window, G-Mail in another. I have only used it with G-Mail because when I’m on my computer, in Fire Fox, my G-Mail tab shows me when I have a new message, so I don’t have to keep duble checking with my MSN or somthin
